Hey Jelena, Could you tell us who you are?
Hi, nice to meet you too. My name is Jelena and I am a social media specialist. I own my own business through which I help different business to establish their presence on social media channels, depending on their needs.
What do you think about social media nowadays?
They are main online communication channels nowadays. Like everything, they have their flaws and advantages. Personally, I find them really easy in connecting with people all over the world, staying in touch with friends and targeting you perfect clients\buyers (if you own a business). For business purposes, they are very cheap, and if you don’t use them for your business, the fact is that you are losing millions of clients on monthly basis.
How did you start with social media marketing? What motivated you?
I was in marketing since always and in my previous job- two years ago, as a marketing manager for one Greek travel agency- I had to work on their social media channels. That’s how I started and then I realized that it’s not like other types of marketing, you have to constantly work on your knowledge because they are constantly changing the rules and trends. And that dynamic is exactly what made me stay in this job.
What are your favorite tools in a daily basis?
Buffer, Grammarly and TimeCamp

How do you grow your community around your brand/startup?
On trust. I am always more focused on quality than quantity and that is what I am trying to provide, and trust is an essence on every relationship, no matter is it personal or business.
Which post you created that you are most proud of?
I can’t separate just one, I created a lot of ads and posts that I am really proud of 🙂
How do you deal with your relationship between brand/ influencer?
I am usually contacting influencers for my clients and manage the whole coopeartion between them and the brand (my client). I never had a problem with any of the influencers I collaborated with, even if we didn’t manage to establish a cooperation, I have a great experience with all of them.
Do you proactively look for partnerships or just take occasions when they present to you?
I usually look for partnerships for my clients. If you are asking for myself, I had a few offers for promoting some brands and I accept them only if I really like the products – cause I don’t consider myself an influencer.
What is for you the perfect way to approach an influencer?
Straightforward with proposal and conditions that the brand is offering. I appreciate honesty and open communication a lot.
To know you even better, could you tell me what is your best achievement so far?
I consider my best achievement till now, starting my own business from zero and managing to push it this far, I am planning to go further, of course. I still didn’t invent anything crucial for mankind, but small steps counts 🙂

Spreading my business. I am planning to stay in this field, of course, I just want to take it to the next level 🙂
